Baby Cargo 200 Series Giveaway

Baby Cargo Collage 1

What kind of stroller would a team of experienced designers (also parents) and engineering partners design, if given the opportunity?  Probably one with sleek lines, interior design inspired patterns, colors, and textures and of course one with functional smart features like a carry-strap and adjustable canopy.

Introducing Baby Cargo.  Developed by a team just like that, the Baby Cargo line of strollers have all the above features in three different series (100, 200, 300).  We tested a 200 Series stroller and found some distinct characteristics that make it stand out among the stroller crowd.

In Canada, I fond the Baby Cargo 200 Series stroller at Sears.ca for $179.99 and Toys R Us for $149.99.  As moms know, stroller prices can vary greatly from a $25 umbrella stroller all the way up to around $1000.  While each price range of strollers offers it’s own pros and cons, it’s important to find a stroller that’s right for you, your lifestyle and let’s face it, your spending comfort-level.  We bought our first stroller about 9 years ago and I paid more for it than the Baby Cargo 200 Series Stroller today.

The design is different than many others currently on the market.  We’re seeing a lot of orb or egg-shaped seats lately, so this very square design stands out.  Boxy?  Not really.  If anything, the seat is extra wide compared to other strollers giving your child more room than he may be used to.  We liked the adjustable footrest (keep it up when baby is reclined and lower it for comfort on walks) and hood.  The hood can be lowered to keep baby well covered from the elements or moved quite high up for those kids with busy hands who can’t resist pulling it up and down…up and down…up and…yeah.

The wheels on the stroller are not as large as some, but this stroller isn’t for jogging or walks along trails.  This is a functional, modern and sleek designed stroller for neighborhood walks, shopping and travel. At under 14 pounds and easy to fold, store and carry, this stroller is perfect for holiday travel.

Our 2 year old was a perfect fit in the Baby Cargo 200 Series (the leg rest is perfect for her length) and I liked the height of the handles.  They felt ergonomic in their inward shape and made it easy to maneuver the stroller on sidewalks.  I’d have liked to have seen a bigger basket, but reminded myself that this is a functional, city stroller and therefore the basket is suited to that need.  The stroller also features a back pocket perfect for storing keys, your phone, and wallet which I thought was great (most times I’m shoving my phone and keys in the cup holder!)

Available in 3 colors and at a great selection of retailers in both US and Canada (US search by zip code is currently functional on the site with International searching coming soon), the Baby Cargo Series 200 is worth looking at for city slickers, frugal families, and travelers alike.
