Saying Thank You With Merci Chocolates

awards season envelope

It’s awards season, and whether music is your interest (like me!) or movies capture your heart, there’s something about the awards journey that captures our interest every year.  Whether it’s speculation about the two top contendors for the Grammy for Record of the Year, or speculation that the underdog is going to capture the Oscar for Best Picture – we’re all over the story.  Often times, the best stories come from awards shows when someone gives an amazing, heartfelt thank you (Jody Foster this year, anyone??)

Who would you thank, if you had a very public moment like that to do so?  For me, my mind immediately goes to my husband.  He’s my absolute biggest supporter and fan and definitely makes it possible to do what I do – whether that’s writing a blog, or just being mom to three kids.  He’s my hero, my champion, and my cheering squad.  And so, if given the opportunity to give him a big public THANK YOU, I would!  I suppose I just did!

If i have shown them anything that will last their whole lives it is how to be humble and thankful for all the little things life has to offer because they really do out weigh all the big things when you add them all up.
