If you have little ones in the house, this week is a big deal (I imagine as they become teenagers it’s met with eye rolling and blushing, am I right?) My kids are 8, 5, and almost 2 so Valentine’s Day is still a big deal for us. Cards have already been chosen and now we need to get to work writing them out for classmates and teachers. No extra candy, pencils, erasers and whatever else has been included with the Valentines in recent years (what’s that all about?)
This weekend you can start celebrating Valentine’s Day early with Disney Junior. On Sunday February 10th, Disney Junior is bringing you a morning filled with Valentine and friendship-themed episodes including brand new episodes of Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates and Handy Manny. Don’t worry, if you miss it you can catch the encore on Valentine’s Day at 7:30am ET and 5:10pm. ET.
Friends and family that can’t be near on Valentine’s Day can still get a special greeting from the kids. Disney Junior gives you the opportunity to design your own Valentine’s cards adding your favorite characters to the cards as well. We picked Sophia to help share this greeting because, as I’ve mentioned before, Sophia the First is a very big deal in our household!
After Valentine’s Day has passed, there’s still some fun things happening at Disney Junior including a pyjama party to welcome twin bananas B1 and B2 of its newest series Bananas in Pyjamas on February 22nd at 7pm ET and a contest call!
Right now, you can visit the Disney Junior site for a chance to win four front row seats for the March 15th, 2013 Disney On Ice presents Rockin’ Ever After show in Toronto! This wonderful prize includes round-trip flights, two nights at a hotel in Toronto, a character meet and greet experience, and a prize pack of Rockin’ Ever After merchandise! This show is only coming to Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal (and to this I say, boo!) but hopefully in years to come great events like this will be available for all fans across Canada!
