I don’t know why, as a mom, I can’t get it together when it comes to school lunches. There should be a rule in our household that when you come home from school, the lunch bag comes out of the backpack and onto the counter - but more often than not my 8 year old is pulling it out of his backpack in the morning…and sometimes on a Monday morning (ew, I know). When there’s something in there that should have gone back in the baggie but didn’t, the results can be even more “ew” worthy.
So I’ve been good about using containers instead of bags, and my son has been (relatively) good about not losing them (dishwasher safe labels are the bomb, just saying.)
