There’s something about the change of seasons, the back to school routine, the weather getting colder that makes cooking more enjoyable.

Like many moms, I’m always looking for new recipes and sites like Pinterest have given me great inspiration! I was talking about this at a photography workshop I was at this weekend – if a photo associated with a recipe is enticing, you’re going to click on it and you’re more likely to try it, am I right?

This Lemon Ginger Beef Stir-fry was made using a Club House Flavourful Recipe Mix sent as part of the Club House Flavourful Recipe Mix Blog Tour with Mom Central.

The box packed full of Club House products was one of my favorite review deliveries in a long time – I believe I did a little happy dance when I opened it! I already was a fan of Club House and now I had before me a huge selection of new products to try including six Club House Flavourful Recipe Mixes:

The Lemon Ginger Beef Stir-Fry recipe was super easy to make, like all Club House recipes using their products (most require just a handful of ingredients). I was surprised how lemon-flavoured the broccoli and other veggies were in this recipe. It was very tasty but not too spicy for the kids either. The recipe only called for broccoli, carrots and red pepper but I also added mushrooms – you can always add things to make Club House recipes your own.

Some of my other favourite Club House products include:
Butter Chicken – one of my husband’s favourite recipes and it’s absolutely easy to make, we have it on rice.
Chili Seasoning Mix – I used this for the first time last week and my husband said the chili rivaled that from Tim Horton’s!
Meat Marinade Seasoning Mix – I know it’s an odd name, not very colorful, but I just started using it on our steaks this summer and it’s my new favourite meat marinade.
