Weleda’s baby care line features natural care products using Calendula – known for it’s powerful and healing properties. Baby massage has long been known to help calm and sooth fussy babies and also help parents and baby bond in a quiet moment of soothing comfort. Putting these two together sounds like, well, natural progression!
Weleda invited me to try out their Calendula Baby Care products and also provided me with a yoga mat and towel to help provide the perfect environment for a soothing massage with my baby. Unfortunately, my little one is 14 months and wants to wiggle, giggle, and run, so my attempt at baby massage didn’t last too long – but it’s the thought that counts right? When my babies were infants, they all loved an after bath lotion rub down – I didn’t follow any particular technique but they loved having a hands on massage before bed in the evening.
