Rocky Mountain Soap Company

Albertans are spoiled.  Not only do they get great Chinooks in the winter months, skiing nearby, a massive mall worthy of comfy shoes and a hotel stay to cover it all, but they also are home to Rocky Mountain Soap Company.  I discovered this store for the first time when I was in Banff and was happy to discover you can order Rocky Mountain Soap Company products online!  They’ve also expanded beyond Alberta with locations in Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg (wait a second…you tripped when you stumbled over Saskatchewan, guys!)

Rocky Mountain Soap Company sent me 4 items to try, of which I was of course happy to oblige!  Their products are 100% natural (in fact, their soap is still handmade!) so I knew that the whole family could use these products without a concern.  Of course, that would mean I’d have to share which I’m not very good at.

The Blood Orange Organic Sugar Scrub ($21) was my favorite – likely because like everyone I have dry skin this time of the year and it was awesome to smooth out the rough patches in the shower with something that smells so deliciously fresh and crisp.

The Berry Lip Gloss ($8) with its yummy pomegranate scent is perfect for tossing in my purse or diaper bag and applying throughout the day (the color is subtle but there) and the Coconut Lip Butter ($4.49) will make you yearn for the beach as it makes me think of suntan lotion every time I apply it!

Genius packaging of the Foot Butter ($13.49) allows you to carry this product in your beach bag or purse all summer long to apply – regular use of it is stated to help eliminate those dry patches so it makes sense to have it handy to apply (who wants to rub their hands on their feet mid afternoon right?)  This is one of Rocky Mountain Soap Company’s most popular products for good reason!
