Excited to be With Family This Easter #FisherPriceMoms

The video above is of 1 year old Everleigh playing with our Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Dance & Play Puppy, her new buddy that’s a hit in our household!  She has some other interactive toys like this, so I wasn’t sure if this would be interesting to her but boy was I surprised!  Unlike her other interactive toys, the Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Dance & Play Puppy claps his hands and his ears move up and down which Everleigh loooooves!

We’re heading to our hometown this weekend, to see my parents for Easter, and when selecting which toys would accompany us this one is a must-have!  My parents, in their 70’s, are going to enjoy seeing little Everleigh wiggle her bum and clap along with the Puppy.

We’re super excited to be able to celebrate Easter with family this year – due to my husband’s shift work we don’t always get to be around family for special occasions – this weekend also includes Everleigh’s 1st birthday party and my mom’s 72nd birthday party so it’s a very special time for us!

Unfortunately, we’re also at the mercy of the weather here in Saskatchewan so I’m not sure if we’re going to be able to hunt for eggs in the backyard, because they might just be covered in snow overnight if the bunny comes too early!

I hope you get to spend Easter with extended family members, though if not you can be like us and invite friends over for a special meal or play date.  We make the best of the situation when we’re far from family, though this year I’m very excited to let the grandparents chase the kids for a bit, and plump up on my mom’s great cooking!  Happy Easter everyone!
