My husband recently declared he’s a grown up (I’m so proud.) This came after he started using the Philips PowerTouch we received last month. Up until then my husband, who has to be clean shaven every day for work, had been using a manual razor. I’d cringe when he purchased new blades for it because they are ridiculously expensive.
I remember growing up my dad had an electric razor with a cord, and a special bag for it since the cord took up so much space. The Philips PowerTouch shaving system my husband received is cordless so it doesn’t take up much more room than his old razor and blades did. It can be used right away (the Quick Charge will have him ready for 1 shave within 3 minutes) and once fully charged (1 hr) it can run for 60+ minutes of cordless shaving which is great (because we know guys are not as good about making sure things are charged, or at least in my house).
Now, getting a review out of a guy is sometimes difficult (think of it as a “Me Tarzan” type of conversation). This is the gist of it in our household.
Me: “So, that Phillips razor, do you have any feedback for me on it?”
Him: “It’s good.”
Me: “Ok, can you elaborate?”
Him: “Not really, I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I like it.”
So there you have it. It’s no wonder I’m the product reviewer in the household, and I need to remind him of this the next time he complains that I get so many cool things to review and he doesn’t!! I love that man.
