Delta Vero Bath Collection ~ Bathroom Faucet Giveaway

When we moved into this house almost a year ago, we had a lot of work ahead of us. Structurally our house was awesome, having been built in 2001. Esthetically, however, it needed a lot of work. I don’t know what the original decorator was thinking but nothing had been changed since the original owners decorated it and it was definitely time. Don’t believe me? The real eyesore of the house was definitely the main bathroom. You know how people say that a kitchen and bathroom are the main rooms of the house that can make or break a sale? Yeah, we were definitely going on blind faith when we purchased the house based on that presumption! Here is a before picture of the bathroom vanity:

Yes, that’s sailboat-wallpaper-border, a seashell inspired sink and a seashell vanity light. Add to it the salmon colored walls and you’ve got a beach oasis…if that’s your thing. It wasn’t mine! Here is what we did to update this bathroom:

I love our new marble vanity but wasn’t happy with the faucet we put in. We had to find something locally and there wasn’t a lot of selection so we settled on something ‘for now’ and I hoped I found find something more modern. This is what the faucet that we put in looked like:

The faucet was okay, but a little dated for my new modern bathroom. Recently, I was given the opportunity to look at some new products from Delta – the Vero Bath Collection – which includes a beautiful faucet, the Vero Widespread Faucet. I knew this was the faucet that would complete the new look of the entire vanity!

The Vero collection will includes WaterSense-labeled lavatories, which use up to 32 percent water less water than standard faucets without compromising the
comfort or convenience of the user (based on flow Rate of 1.5 gpm versus Industry Standard ASME.A112.18.1/CSA.B125.1 of 2.2 gpm). I don’t notice a difference at all in the water pressure or flow, which is great!
